The Supreme Judicial Council decided on Sunday to approach the House of Representatives regarding the role of the judiciary in supervising polling stations in the upcoming elections, and amending the law of public prosecution and judicial supervision.


"The Supreme Judicial Council held its periodic session under the chairmanship of Judge Faik Zaidan and the presence of all its members.

The Council decided to approach the House of Representatives to amend the law of public prosecution and judicial supervision," said Judge Abdul Sattar Birqdar, a spokesman for the Judicial Council. In accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the unity of the components of the

Supreme Judicial Council ».

The spokesman added that «the members of the Council confirmed that the components of the Supreme Judicial Council one is indivisible under the provisions of the law
and the Constitution».

"The Council decided to approach the House of Representatives to clarify the role of the judiciary in the supervision of polling stations in the upcoming elections, and must be in accordance with the provisions of the laws in force for
them."
