Parliamentary agreement to host Abadi to discuss the budget

MP of the coalition of state law, Mohamed Chihod, on Wednesday, details of the meeting held between the parliamentary committees and political blocs to discuss the budget law for 2018, indicating that the meeting agreed to host Prime Minister Haider Abadi because of the many differences on the law.

Chihod said in a statement that "the adoption of the budget law for the year 2018 is facing difficulties due to frequent differences on it," noting that "the southern provinces are demanding the need to spend petrodollar and give 50% of the revenues of the ports of the province, as well as the launch of grades for deletion and development, .

He added that "the meeting discussed today, these demands during the meeting of the parliamentary blocs with the relevant committees and stressed the inability to pass the budget without including these demands."

The Chihod said that "what has been agreed is to re-budget to the Finance Committee again to include the demands of the southern provinces or host Prime Minister Haider Abadi in this regard," stressing that "hosting Abadi is necessary to discuss these differences.
