Abadi office: The draft budget will arrive within days to parliament

Saad al-Hadithi spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office Haider Abadi, near the end of the Council of Ministers of the draft federal budget for 2018, adding that he will send him during the next few days to the House of Representatives.

Al-Hadithi said in a press statement: "In the coming days, the federal budget for 2018 will be sent to the Iraqi parliament to enter into the space of discussions,"
noting that "data and figures in the budget as a project subject to change and amendment."


He added that "the government put in the budget (2016 - 2017 - 2018) a specific financial cover for the popular crowd," pointing out that "any increase in the salaries of the crowd took place without the knowledge of the federal government and in the budget of 2018 did not increase any."

That "the position of Abadi on the non-nomination of members of the security forces for the elections is due to Article VII of the Constitution, which confirms (that the members of the security services are not eligible to run in the elections)."

Al-Hadithi explained that "the law of the crowd put in detail the condition of giving up political work," noting that "in the event of leaving the military action allows him to exercise all his political benefits."
And on what happened in the meeting of Prime Minister Haider Abadi with the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr, said Hadithi that "Abadi discussed with Mr. Sadr the issue of the referendum of the region, and stressed during the meeting the past of the federal government in imposing its authority across the country.
