Alliance between Sadr and Abadi and Hakim "is not excluded"

through the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr, the possibility of alliance with Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi and the head of the National Alliance Ammar al-Hakim in the upcoming elections, while stressing that the problems accumulated between Erbil and the previous government made the Kurds think of secession.


Sadr said in an interview with the newspaper "Middle East," briefed him, "the light of news," today, does not rule out "the alliance with Prime Minister Haider Abadi and the head of the National Alliance Ammar al-Hakim in the upcoming elections."


"We are in the process of forming a transitory block of quotas, from independent technocrats to take Iraq to safety while providing services to citizens," he said.


Sadr stressed that "the presence of popular mobilization outside the state is causing many problems."


And on the referendum to be held in Kurdistan, revealed Sadr, "his contact with the leaders of the region, and his call to postpone the holding of the referendum expected," pointing out that "the Kurds part of the Iraqi fabric, and we want them to be from us and Vina."


He continued, "Some of the problems accumulated by the previous government led to their distance and reach such a degree that (Batwa) want to secede, and if it is decided to separate Kurdistan, this will bring problems from home and abroad."
