International Monetary Fund approved a loan worth 3.6 billion dollars for Iraq


The IMF approved Wednesday a loan of three billion and 600 million dollars to Iraq to cover the shortfall in the balance of payments.



The loan which was approved by the Board of Directors of the Fund is paid in installments over two years.



The fund said in a statement that Iraq received the first batch of 455 million dollars.




And solve the loan contract replaces another loan granted to Iraq by the end of 2007 and worth $ 746 million and was completed in March 2009.
