Central sales of the dollar, rising to 185 million

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: increased sales of the Iraqi Central Bank of the dollar in the auction for the sale of currencies, Monday, to $ 185 million, compared with 130 million during the previous session.

She bulletin issued by the Central Bank and the Agency has received (Voices of Iraq) a copy of that "the total volume of demand for the dollar stood at 185 million and 485 thousand dollars, covered by the central bank at the basis of 1170 dinars per dollar."

The figure rose from the previous meeting, which recorded total sales volume reached 130 million and 669 thousand dollars at an exchange rate basis of 1170 dinars per dollar.

The bulletin stated that the demand for the dollar, "distributed by 14 million and 80 thousand dollars in cash, covered by the central exchange rate was 1183 dinars per dollar, including his commission of $ 13 dinars per dollar."

While the "value of remittances outside Iraq, 171 million and 405 thousand dollars, covered by the exchange rate reached 1173 dinars to the dollar, including his commission's three dinars per dollar," the bulletin stated that he "did not make any of the 14 banks participating in the auction, offers to sell the dollar."

The central bank held five meetings a week from Sunday to Thursday for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies.
