حثت أستاذة النظرية الاقتصادية في جامعة بغداد ثريا الخزرجي البنك المركزي على وضع سياسة جديدة لتحديد سعر صرف الدينار أمام الدولار على المدى البعيد. إلا أن الخبيرة الاقتصادية أكدت أن هذه الخسائر تولد قوة شرائية تضاعف حجم الإنفاق على هذه المزادات. However, the economic expert confirmed that the losses generated purchasing power has doubled the volume of expenditure on these auctions.
من جهته، دافع عضو المعهد العراقي للإصلاح الاقتصادي مناف الصائغ عن سياسة الإقراض التي تبناها البنك المركزي، مؤكدا أن حجم الفائدة المرتفع الذي وضعه البنك على القروض ساهم في امتصاص نسب التضخم التي شهدها العراق ولاسيما في العام 2007.
