(Sorry, but couldn't get my "bold" to operate.)
Welcome to our "get back to normal" Tuesday! Hello's to tudor, ksd, harry, guardian, cleopatra, Bondlady2, Jade, b1955, Rr, Charlie, and of course to YOU! Hope everyone's holiday weekend went wonderfully, and that this shorter work week will be most productive. I know some of us dealt with more bad weather with more flooding, but I trust we all made it successfully through the rough spots and have arrived on top of the situation. ks, so sorry to hear of you family 's difficulties, but grateful they are all safe. Praying that they can recover from their losses. tudor, I thought you had an especially nice morning post, ...thanks! It is so nice to see us all continuing to visit, however brief, and I so want to encourage anyone else so inclined, to pop in to join us. We won't bite... I promise! and as always, THANK YOU harry, and guardian for faithfully continuing to keep us updated on the news from Iraq. ONE of these days we will get THE news we have so been looking forward to receiving. Until then... remain positive and if I may, consider finding at least one way you can pay it forward... no matter how small. I encourage you to sow a seed of kindness, generosity of spirit, consideration, favor... you decide. I promise it will be a gift to the recipient as well as to yourself. Love hard and laugh long and often... even if you find yourself alone! And while your are at it, set yourself at least one goal to motivate you through this season in your life. Have a great day, DS!
...Hey, perhaps anyone comfortable doing so, could share what their goal is with us all. It doesn't have to be a grand and lofty thing, just something you need or want to attain. I will go first. My goal is to stop all unnecessary (which in my current estimation regarding myself is nearly all).. ...complaining. This is gonna be more difficult that I originally thought! So... think about it. And share. We can encourage each other and possibly there could be some sharing of tips that might have worked in the past with those trying to improve some area of their life. The list of possibilities is endless. Who's got a tip for me? I could use some help in breaking this nonproductive habit! After a bit, we could give some updates as to how we are progressing... or how we find ourself stalled. What do y'all think about this? To participate, I do not think would take hardly any extra time out of your already busy schedule. I know most everyone has a full plate already. This is YOUR room, and YOU get to decide ...ANYBODY "IN" ?
